We're recruiting a Strategic Analyst to join our Strategy and Competitive Intelligence team. We care deeply about solving meaningful problems that will measurably impact the strategic direction of MSK.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who are eager to serve as an analytical leader in the assessment and understanding of our internal business dynamics through quantitative analysis of key organizational strategic metrics.

Upcoming 2021 Projects:

1. Creating Insight Analyses Focused on Key Strategic Metrics
2. Comprehensive Competitive Assessments of Select Markets
3. 2022 Patient Activity Forecasting

You will:

• Serve as a contributor to a team based approach to understanding trends, crafting analyses, and generating insights about our metrics
• Scan the market for developments related to MSK’s ability to achieve its strategic goals
• Synthesize developments into focused understanding, insights, and guidance for future strategic moves
• Deliver presentations on MSK’s internal volume dynamics, competitive and industry dynamics, and the interplay between these elements
• Work across all levels of the business and establish trusting and collaborative relationships with a wide range of peers, senior executives, and external partners

You are:

• Someone who exhibits a keen sense of curiosity about the world and an experimentation approach
• A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
• Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
• Enjoy building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals
• Resilient in recovering from setbacks and skilled at finding detours around obstacles
• Able to navigate effectively even when things are not clear or the way forward is not obvious
• Adept at learning quickly, applying insights from past efforts to new situations

You have:

• 2+ years using analytics to roadmap business decisions and consult on impact
• R & SQL experience; knowledge of relational databases and reputable analyses
• Eager to grow analytics knowledge and learn new skills i.e. github
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
