The Strategic Initiatives Manager will look into new verticals, research these verticals to thoroughly understand how attractive they are, how they operate, and how Flex can help solve problems for potential customers and partners. As we begin new strategic initiatives and partnerships, we need someone to facilitate partnership conversations and work to implement new relationships.

What you'll do:

• Build knowledge base of new vertical markets, clearly catalog market size, growth, other data, trends, and billing problems
• Research and document market value chains, ecosystems, and prevalent payment infrastructure
• Become the internal subject matter expert for data and insight related to assigned growth verticals
• Collaborate with Product to deeply understand market problems, craft and test value hypotheses, and understand gap between market requirements and current technology/product set
• Prepare reports and educate senior management and other stakeholders on research findings and how they represent growth opportunities for Flex
• Identify potential partnerships, make early connections
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Partner Management to create partnership proposals, including screen mockups, integration ideas, and potential deal terms
• Drive the implementation of assigned strategic initiatives including new partnerships and programs
• Prepare Sales team to pursue new growth markets by packaging and delivering research, learnings, and strategies
