What this role is about:
As the Strategy Associate, you will apply thought leadership, analytical skills, and business judgment to help define strategic priorities, deliver operational excellence, and foster innovation and growth for RapidSOS. The Corporate Development & Strategy team uses strategic, financial, investment, and operational frameworks to identify, develop and execute strategic acquisitions, projects, and operational initiatives for RapidSOS.
What you’ll do:
Own targeted prospect opportunities through the entire business development cycle – from the first contact to active solution discussions to negotiating and executing agreements
Provide detailed research and analysis on a variety of segments to support the development of commercial offerings
Develop and present materials that communicate our unique value proposition to clients and partners
Develop and present presentations which translate the learnings from research and analysis into effective presentation and discussion materials for relevant internal and external stakeholders
Own internal operational improvement initiatives – project managing from improvement identification to full delivery and measurement/tracking
Support the company leadership in executing the strategic plan, including special projects
What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
1+ years experience in investment banking, mergers & acquisitions, corporate development, consulting, or private equity in the technology industry
Highly self-motivated, strong work ethic, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Organized and a strong communicator
Exceptional analytical skills; high attention to detail with polished visual, written, and oral presentation skills - Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint
