A Virtuoso travel agency is hiring for their Business Intelligence Team!

The Manager, Reporting and Data Analysis will manage company data (including, but not limited to, travel sales, invoicing and clients’ sales), develop and generate queries and reports, and share data with leadership and business units. The primary focus of this role is to provide system-generated reports as well as custom data analysis to the company’s leaders in the areas of sales metrics, reporting, and data normalization.

The ideal candidate has impeccable attention to detail, thinks strategically, enjoys analyzing data, and has the aptitude to clearly articulate concepts to all business levels. This position works in the NYC Headquarter office in Midtown NYC and reports to the Controller. 

Responsibilities

• Streamline data collection processes, merging from multiple systems, testing data quality.
• Create procedure to normalize data collection and storage across multiple systems.
• Responsible for data integration, integrity, validation and regression testing.
• Generate monthly commissions reports.
• Generate regularly scheduled and requested reports for analytics.
• Create and modify queries, reports and formats in multiple systems.
• Implement software upgrades and new releases, performing necessary testing.
• Help develop and maintain dashboard(s) with analytics for sales and revenue. 
• User administration for various systems and accounts.
• Create, update and maintain data management policies.
• Pinpoint data needs for key business functionality and communicate to leadership.
• Ensure data systems are secure and protected from breaches or malicious attacks.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data management and reporting within the travel industry
• Experience with travel related data systems including Trams/Clientbase, Grasp
• Proficiency with modern databases and IT systems
• Ability to analyze and deliver data to leadership and all business levels
• Problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication
