The Opportunity

Do you want to be a part of our Underwriting Team helping renters get approved for their apartments! By joining our team, you’ll work with renters across the nation and help fulfill our goal of empowering renters by giving them the opportunity to move into their dream homes. Be part of a fast growing company and make a difference!

What You'll Do Day-to-Day

• Review applications for approval and determine pricing
• Guide renters, landlords, and real estate agents through our application process
• Drive revenue by working with leasing offices and brokers to close deals
• Improve customer retention by facilitating the renewal of existing policies
• Gather data on our underwriting process to fuel our never ending quest to improve our product offerings

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Familiarity with spreadsheets, data, and technology
• Possess a team-oriented attitude
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Comfortable and competent with basic algebra ( you be will quoting insurance premiums on a regular basis)
• Must be able to multitask and be highly adaptable to change
• Ability to work one weekend day per week with one day off during the week (5-day work week)
• Ability to work during business hours (9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
