Deployment Consultant

This is a remote position.

KATBOTZ is seeking an experienced Deployment Consultant to support software deployment, implementation, and production release activities for enterprise projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in deployment planning, environment management, release coordination, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful implementations.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute application and system deployments across multiple environments.
  

• Support software release management and deployment activities for enterprise applications.
  

• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure successful implementations.
  

• Monitor deployment activities and resolve issues during production releases.
  

• Maintain deployment documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  

• Ensure deployment processes comply with security, governance, and change management policies.
  

• Perform deployment validation, rollback planning, and post-deployment support.
  

• Automate deployment activities and improve operational efficiency where possible.
  

• Coordinate environment readiness and release scheduling with stakeholders.
  

• Troubleshoot deployment failures and provide timely resolutions.
  

• 5+ years of experience in Deployment, Release Management, DevOps, or Production Support.
  

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  

• Knowledge of deployment automation, release management, and environment management processes.
  

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google GCP.
  

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
  

• Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and change control processes.
  

• Experience with scripting tools such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  

• Experience supporting enterprise application deployments and production releases.
  

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) is a plus.
  

• ITIL or DevOps certifications are preferred.
  

• Experience working with global teams and overlapping US hours.
