Job Description:
J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management, with client assets of $2.8 trillion, is a global leader in investment and wealth management. Its clients include institutions, high-net-worth individuals and retail investors in every major market throughout the world. The division offers investment management across all major asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, multi-asset and money market funds. For individual investors, the business also provides retirement products and services, brokerage and banking services including trusts and estates, loans, mortgages and deposits.
As a Deposit Sales Banking Associate, you will provide sales and product support for Banking, Treasury Services, and Custody solutions to Wealth Management Investment Solutions clients. The successful candidate will help grow the Wealth Management Investment Solutions deposit book.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with regional Deposit and Liquidity Managers to drive increased penetration of banking products and solutions for existing and new clients
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Deposit, Cash Management and Treasury Services solutions
  • Educate / train bankers and advisors on products features as well as on sales tactics
  • Create quarterly decks for Market Huddles/updates
  • Execute on sales strategies and Banking related strategic initiatives
  • Provide support for general inquiries (e.g. overview of product features, pricing)
  • Prepare proposals, pricing analyses and cost/benefit analyses based on client needs
  • Manage / approve rate and pricing exceptions within delegated authorities
  • Partner with Marketing to create internal and external sales materials
  • Develop and understand competitors' deposit products and positioning within the client & market
  • Partner with the Deposit Sales Managers to implement deals on our internal institutional platform


Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • 2 years of Deposits / Cash Management / Treasury Services sales experience
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of the private banking business and associated products
  • Team-oriented with ability to interact effectively with various functions including Private Bankers, investment professionals, marketing, risk, legal, compliance, technology and operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Series 7 and 63 (required, can be obtained within 1 year)


Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Experience/Familiarity with Deposits and Cash Management, preferred
