We recently raised a $55M Series C led by Insight Partners and Accel to build location infrastructure for every product and service.
Our team is growing quickly and has backgrounds from companies like Google Maps, GitHub, Foursquare, and Facebook. We are remote-friendly and based in NYC.
About the role
Radar is looking for a Creative Director to elevate our brand identity and bring location-based app experiences to life for our enterprise customers. You’re a visionary who can lead a design team to create best-in-class content and cultivate a powerful and enduring brand.
As our first full-time Creative Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in building our design culture, evolving the Radar brand, and helping our customers realize the next generation of location-based app experiences.
You will report to our VP of Marketing.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the creative direction and execution of our brand strategy, and proactively execute on new concepts to evolve Radar’s brand identity
- Lead the marketing design team and collaborate with internal and external resources to create best-in-class content, including but not limited to: customer-facing ad creatives and campaigns, landing pages, whitepapers, slide decks and bespoke creatives for strategic accounts
- Create and translate brand strategy into purposeful creative concepts that truly stand out in the marketplace
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer business goals and help them visualize location-based experiences across Radar’s wide range of use cases
- Drive a consistent, on-brand voice across web, print, video, social media, presentations and events
- Facilitate strong alignment with executive leadership and stakeholders in marketing and product design to elevate Radar’s brand presence
- Conceptualize and execute promotional campaigns to grow customer engagement
- Build repeatable and scalable processes that drive operational efficiency
- Recruit, onboard and manage a high-performing creative team ensuring their commitment to creative quality and excellence
You have:
- 10+ years of design experience, preferably with B2B SaaS companies
- Proven track record of building, managing and nurturing successful creative teams
- A strong portfolio of B2B design work demonstrating your ability to set the creative direction through a variety of brand styles across design and copy. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered
- High attention to detail with a drive for pixel-perfect perfection
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present/pitch creative concepts and translate feedback from stakeholders into actionable design executions
- Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma/Sketch, motion a plus
