The Creative Director will manage the creative process from concept to completion, translating marketing objectives into clear creative strategies. In this hands- on role, you’ll be a driving force behind our visual identity and voice, communicating through beautiful simple design, visual and written storytelling, across a variety of digital, print and other media. You will take the lead on our most visible and creative projects, working with designers and writers to meet design and business goals.

If you are passionate about design and beautiful copy, insanely curious, and a subject matter expert on current best practices in marketing we’d love to hear from you. Applicants must submit a portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve Bluecore’s visual identity as we scale, owning the full brand aesthetic Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas
  • Write and design unique and well-crafted copy to effectively with customers and prospects
  • Develop and revise creative, content and presentations, provide feedback to other team members
  • Design and produce top-quality creative content and advertising campaigns for online and offline experiences, from sales presentations and collateral, to email, website, and social assets
  • Create a wide variety of content offers and lead magnets including ebooks, infographics, whitepapers, and interactive assets
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in advertising, email and motion graphics
  • Identify opportunities for improved marketing, working with all teams to interpret requests and clarify business goals
  • Help establish improved workflows, systems, and metrics to drive forward creative efficacy
  • Be actively involved in hiring and training creative team including designers, writers, and freelancers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing or creative field
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience, in house or agency with a strong focus on digital and content
  • 2-3 years experience managing staff and freelancers from different creative backgrounds, including, but not limited to, copywriters and graphic designers
  • Natural storyteller, skilled at creating integrated, insight-driven content and campaigns that connect with people on an emotional level
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of design, performance marketing
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Powerpoint
  • Ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously, comfortable with ambiguity and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines
