MLB is looking for a Designer to join our Design Services team. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce graphic design initiatives in conjunction with appropriate Major League Baseball departments and consistent with their marketing plans including:
  • Club graphic identities/commemorative logos
  • Sales promotion and presentation materials
  • Exhibit environmental design
  • Retail marketing and point-of-purchase design
  • Communication and collateral materials

• Create design solutions including:
  • Design direction to outside suppliers and vendors
  • Evaluation of creative executions
  • Creation and production of graphic standards
  • Budget and timeline management

• Develop creative presentations including:
  • Consumer products/licensee design inspiration boards
  • Creation of creative communication presentation materials (i.e. concept boards, product comps and presentation decks)

• Create and produce environmental design for initiatives in conjunction with appropriate Major League Baseball departments and consistent with their marketing plans including:
  • Exhibit environmental design
  • Pre and Post production work
  • Retail Marketing and Point-of-Purchase design
  • Tickets, invitations and collateral materials

Preferred Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• College degree
• Minimum of 5 years advertising and/or graphic design experience
• Understanding of graphic design, post production and printing
• Extensive knowledge of graphic production and computers
• Experience in desktop publishing, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint/Keynote
