Freshly is looking for a talented digital designer to add their creative voice in all areas of design and to develop concepts and ideas that will impact the Freshly brand. They will be responsible for maintaining a consistent story across all touchpoints. This includes helping drive campaign directions, developing brand standards and executing digital assets to support marketing and cross-department initiatives.

While Freshly is growing quickly, we’re a lean team that relies on testing and learning plus a massive amount of collaboration and communication. Since we’re an internal creative team, you also need to be able to defend the brand and your work while effectively executing briefs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective, aesthetic, on-strategy creative across a variety of formats/channels, including: responsive emails, banner ads, microsites, social media, presentations, infographics, digital/interactive, and advertising.
  • Quickly identify key elements from our creative brief and translate into compelling and thoughtful deliverables.
  • Maintain a consistent brand look and feel across digital customer touch points while still evolving our designs in ways that are fresh, new, and on trend.
  • Balance design aesthetic with usability and functionality for the ultimate user experience.
  • Digest test learnings and feedback to optimize designs and turn around edits quickly.
  • Work with people across the whole company as the ultimate team player.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Art, Graphic Design, Digital Design, Graphic Communications or related field.
  • 3+ years professional design experience, preferably at a digital agency or working in-house with experience in digital design.
  • Fluent in AdobeCC + Sketch.
  • Stays up to date with latest digital and print design trends, standards, and technologies.
  • Thoughtful and detail-oriented designer, consistently demonstrating a clean and sophisticated aesthetic as well as an ability to solve business problems through effective design.
  • Able to manage a fast-paced project pipeline and participate in cross-functional workflow.
  • Strong conceptual thinker with design sensibilities around infographics, illustrations, web, etc.
  • Open to learn, grow, and implement own ideas and opinions into creative to help evolve brand identity.
  • Experience in motion graphics and proficiency with AfterEffects a plus.
  • Bonus if you’ve worked in the food industry, e-commerce company, or at a lifestyle startup.
