We’re looking for a Director to lead the North America Creative Strategy team. The Director will be expected to set a clear and actionable vision for the team, partner directly with Sr. Sales Leadership to deliver against advertiser revenue goals, develop highly-effective campaigns for our brand partners across industries and consistently represent the creative business in front of Snap Inc. executive leadership. The Director will lead, inspire and develop a talented team of Strategists and Producers, while also being expected to build trusted cross-functional partnerships with leaders from across Snap Inc.
The ideal candidate will have world-class communication skills, a proven track record of leading high-functioning teams, an innate ability to navigate seamlessly between creative ideation and business strategy and a strong background in crafting cross-format digital campaigns for advertising partners.
What You’ll Do:
Lead a large team of seasoned Creative Strategists and Producers sitting across six offices in the US and Canada
Partner directly with NA Sales Leadership to deliver against business objectives and revenue goals
Fuel best-in-class mobile campaigns grounded in video and augmented reality
Lead the organization as a Creative Business with transparent, credible tracking of revenue influence and a keen ability to strategically optimize resources based on business needs
Minimum qualifications:
12+ years of marketing strategy experience with at least 3+ years in a management role leading team of 10 or more.
Proven track record of success across brand strategy, campaign planning, leading integrated agency teams, and developing multi-channel go-to-market plans.
Experience managing a team with a wide-range of functional skills (e.g., strategists, creatives, designers, producers)
Proven track record of building diverse teams
Proven track record of treating creative as a business -- leading as a general manager with equal emphasis on best-in-class creative development and business results
Preferred qualifications:
Passion for Snapchat
Combination of agency, client-side and/or platform experience
Proven ability to build inspiring campaigns that solve business needs
Expertise in empowering and developing team members
Ability to command a room and succinctly articulating thought-leading advertising solutions
Comfort level working in both brand and performance advertising
