We are looking for a confident and highly creative digital first designer with solid illustration and animation skills to join our design team. You will work with our Art Director to push our brand forward through branding, campaign work, website design, in-product collaborations and more.
What you’ll do:
- Work with the Design team to help guide the evolution of the Animoto brand and also maintain and follow current brand standards
- Create visual content for a wide range of marketing projects, including: branding, infographics, email campaigns, video, social, blog graphics, in-product illustrations, and web design
- Create on-brand illustration, iconography, and animations (gifs)
- Curate and edit original and stock photography
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and video teams to push the best design solutions across all channels with multiple stakeholders across multiple teams
- Effectively communicate ideas visually and verbally to cross-functional teams
What we’re looking for:
- 2-4 years of professional design experience, in-house marketing/brand team or agency, preferred
- An excellent design portfolio that demonstrates strong skills in branding, typography, color, illustration, iconography, and animation
- Extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs - specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects
- Short form Animation skills ie. gifs
- A self initiated, detail oriented designer with excellent communication skills and confidence
- Passion and enthusiasm for design and making awesome work
Bonus points:
- Professional level motion graphics experience
- Experience with web design and email campaigns
- Design nerdy-ness
- Experience collaborating and working with marketers, engineers, and product designers
