Jr. Graphic Designer

As a Designer at Teachable, you will be responsible for collaborating with Design, Marketing, and Product to support an extraordinary product that is used by tens of thousands of creators and millions of students.
Teachable is looking for a junior graphic designer with 0-2 years of experience to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Become fully immersed in the Teachable brand and mission
- Execute designs that reflect our brand with the guidance of with our Visual Designer
- Design for a wide variety of media, including: printed materials, websites, emails, social media, events, office branding, and presentations
- Partner with our Visual Designer as well as our Brand and Content team to create experiences that elevate the brand and drive action
- Collaborate with Social Strategist to formulate the look and feel of all of our social channels. Willingness to be daring and innovative in rethinking how we represent the brand on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube)
- Produce unique, strategically-led marketing assets (including print assets: gift and event)
- Contribute to all phases of creative production – from concept to execution.
- Brainstorm and strategize with team on new and innovative designs for public-facing materials.
- Promote continual creative improvements through self-education and process refinement
- Participate in regular design crits and help create an in-house design practice
Skills and Tools
- Proficiency with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Sketch are required; experience with Keynote, After Effects, and Video Editing are preferred
- Experience designing for social media (Instagram, Facebook) and other paid media platforms
- Strong typography skills and clean design aesthetic with an emphasis on visual hierarchy, good structure and clear communication
