Job Description

The Junior Graphic Designer will report directly to the Head of Marketing Technology, Operations & Strategic Partner Integration and will partner with stakeholders across the company, as well as with 3rd party partners, to ensure marketing campaigns assets are successfully created and managed. 

As a key member in the marketing department, the Junior Graphic Designer will use their passion for sports creative and artistic talent to manage both digital and print design projects from concept through production. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with core marketing team as well as external creative agencies
• Develop concepts and designs for a variety of digital and print projects
• Manage and optimize digital assets within a creative repository
• Design seamlessly across platforms including digital, print, social, and multimedia
• Manage and track multiple projects at one time with clear process ensuring timely delivery
• Provide creative and art direction for visual assets including photography, illustration, digital and print ads
• Stay on top of emerging tools, technologies, and platforms
• Use best practices associated with design and typography in both digital and print

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio with excellence in design and typography
• 0-2 years of relevant working experience. Recent college grads welcome
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Super organized taskmaster with strong presentation skills
• Demonstrated project management and creative operations skills to help create a digital asset management process
• Ability to think outside of the box, be innovative, adaptable and come up with creative solutions to changing business challenges

Nice-to-have:

• Multimedia design experience (e.g. After Effects, motion graphics, video/audio for development of Instagram stories, audiograms, animated gifs)
• HTML & CSS experience for landing page development and/or email development
• Vector and custom illustration skills
