Bluecore, a fast-growing SaaS start-up, is looking for a self-motivated, full-time Junior Visual Designer to join our team. As part of our high growth environment you will have the opportunity to work on many different types of projects including: presentations, digital media pieces and email templates. Responsible for driving the creative story and brand by converting the needs of the business into compelling visual designs, the ideal candidate will be creative, detail oriented, collaborative and have a passion for design. 

Responsibilities

• Design printed and digital materials such as presentation decks and collaterals, infographics, illustrations/graphics for blog posts and emails, email templates, display ads and landing pages
• Support and collaborate closely with the project owners throughout the project
• Manage expectations, set deadlines and follow up on projects with a strong sense of urgency
• Responsible for helping to drive the creative direction of the Brand
• Take business needs and turn them into design 

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Visual Designer, preferably within a B2B organization
• A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, strong design ability, layout and typographic skills
• Comfortable designing in both print and digital medium
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and PowerPoint/Keynote
• Impeccable attention to detail and passion for quality
• Ability to defend your work but also take creative feedback and execute updates in professional manner
• Must be a team player, unafraid to ask questions and able to interact across departmental divisions as you will be working in support of all parts of the business
• Ability to execute and passion for design are key
• Some digital Illustration experience and/or experience working with B2B technology company is a plus
• Good understanding of responsive web design and search engine optimization is a plus
