The Role

LeafLink is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join our team and take ownership of building and designing multiple user experiences and concepts across our B2B applications. This role can be in our NYC, LA or Austin offices, or fully remote.

As a Lead Product Designer at LeafLink, you will be a highly strategic and self-sufficient problem solver. You and your teammates will work to ensure that LeafLink offers a world class customer centric platform experience by building out responsive and consistent products powered by our design system. You will partner with Product managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and other Colleagues  as well as our Customers to validate that your designs meet intended goals and workflows.

Responsibilities 

  • Work as part of a cross-disciplinary team to deliver amazing experiences that drive value for both our customers and our business
  • Lead all phases of the product design process: user research, concept development, visual design and prototyping for various portions of the LeafLink B2B platform
  • Contribute to the building, documentation, and organization of the LeafLink Design system
  • Mentor fellow designers by providing constructive feedback, support and inspiration
  • Partner with our VP of Product Design in building/refining Product Design processes
  • Interact with our CX Team & Customers to gather, analyze, and translate product feedback into optimized user experiences
  • Make informed design decisions based on data, analytics, screen recordings and similar measurements to indicate adoption and engagement
  • Work closely with teammates to validate and QA design implementation to ensure accuracy and responsiveness, in web and app experiences
  • Familiarize yourself with the rapidly changing cannabis industry and its needs & demands as well as paradigm defining designs for innovative B2B platforms

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer for an e-Commerce, Fintech, B2B/Enterprise or SaaS software product, preferably in a startup environment
  • Proven experience leading teams and projects with design processes including research, ideation, validation, presentation and implementation
  • Great communications skills, highly collaborative and experienced working across multiple teams & stakeholders
  • Able to understand product insights from various stakeholders, developing design strategies that translate into great experiences
  • Skilled at designing responsive web apps across multiple viewports, and iOS and Android apps
  • Experience contributing to design systems and component libraries that power multiple applications
  • Strong experience and productivity with industry standard tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, or similar.
  • Your portfolio showcases your range of skills: UX, research, visual design, UI, storytelling, persona creation, interaction design, prototyping, and design process.
