About the role

As Freelance Product Designer you will be collaborating with technical- and product-centric Striders to deliver product to our customers. You will be an integral part of product discovery and product iteration, articulating an early vision of the product and working together to validate and adjust that vision over time. You will report to Stride’s Product Lead and will work as a partner with an engagements technical lead to identify and delivery the right products.

Requirements

• 5+ years designing product and customer experiences
• The ability to work onsite in NYC 5 days a week
• A collaborative mindset
• Successful track record of interviewing users and customers
• Successful collaboration with development teams including iterative delivery of design

Nice to have

• Experience with Sketch, Zeplin, Abstract, and newer design versioning systems
• Experience at consulting company or similar
• UX or Technology background
• Experience working in product pods
