We are looking for a Product Designer. In this role, you will apply your passion for interaction and product design to creating a best-in-class experience to help solve one of America’s greatest healthcare issues – untreated hearing loss. In this early stage startup you’ll have the ability to learn and grow in online and offline experiences, on the web and building and developing apps. We have bold plans and design will play a critical role in our success.
What you’ll do:
- Reporting to Head of Design, you’ll collaborate with Design, Product and Engineering leaders to drive conversion, improve customer satisfaction with hearing aids, develop cutting edge diagnostic tools.
- Develop and transform high-level flows and wireframes into fully fleshed out engineering-ready mockups.
- Brainstorm and collaborate to develop new features.
- Author and develop an iterative style guide.
- Develop and conduct usability and acceptance testing.
- Develop rich and engaging interactives to convey product benefits.
- Bore your friends with your rich knowledge of audiology.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years minimum as a Product or UX designer.
- Fluent in Sketch (seriously, you like, LOVE Sketch), Invision and the Adobe Suite
- A portfolio that demonstrates your process, a user-centered approach, and the results.
- Experience with both marketing funnels and designing web-based applications.
- Excel at problem-solving and are able to communicate the reasons behind your design decisions.
- You’re a mature person who can make tough decisions. You have a passion for a superlative user experience balanced with an understanding that startups need to move fast.
- A love for simple user flows, information hierarchy, interaction design, visual design and usability heuristics.
- Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative people.
- Self-motivated, organized and accountable.
