WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

In this newly created role, The Trade Desk is looking for a Creative Operations Manager to oversee projects for the creative global marketing team. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and well-organized, able to work on multiple projects concurrently and have a strong attention to detail. The candidate should have experience working with an in-house creative team in addition, we are looking for someone with a deep a passion for creating work with impact and collaborating with a broader global marketing team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Responsible for management and coordination of creative and production activities including, but not limited to, marketing campaigns, brand development, events, photoshoots and other special projects
  • Collaborate with team leads, stakeholders, marketers and designers to brief projects, define milestones, assign resources and assist in meeting project goals, budgets and deadlines
  • Help define and manage the creative approval process through all phases: creative brief, concept, copy creation, legal review, asset creation, proofing, production and final review
  • Create and orchestrate legal agreements for freelance and consultants
  • Manage production companies and vendors (such as animators, photographers, developers, etc.), coordinate timelines, team feedback and execution
  • Manage the creative production calendar and track deliverables to maintain project deadlines and provide transparency across cross-functional team leads
  • Lead communication with internal and external partners to ensure that project deliverables and timelines are fully met
  • Lead weekly creative review to maintain active communication on project status, blockers and deliverables and ensure proper approvals from project leads

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 8-10 years of creative/in-house agency project management experience (in-house is preferred)
  • Media/B-to-B background preferred
  • Global experience
  • BFA, Fine arts (or similar)
  • Team player who can work in a group and independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work flow, and meet deadlines
  • Must have strong people management skills
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Experience in PowerPoint and/or Keynote
  • Hunger for keeping up-to-date on current technology, trends and web design principals

Nice To Have’s:

  • Creative background preferred
  • Experience in the advertising technology space
  • Experience using project management tools like Jira and Asana

Must be located in New York
