Senior Creative Strategist
Squarespace is equally defined by its products and the advertising campaigns that promote and explain them. From the Emmy award-winning John Malkovich work, to our most recent campaign featuring Idris Elba, creating buzzy and beautifully designed communications is a top priority.
As we continue to build out our in-house creative team, we’re looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to help ensure our work remains insightful, compelling and relevant to our audience. You’ll help manage our brand and infuse it with meaning, understand our current and potential users, write great briefs, bring back inspiration from the wider creative culture and find new opportunities for Squarespace to tell its story.
In return, you’ll get some of the best creative opportunities in the industry, an equity package and a balanced lifestyle. You’ll also be in good company, working alongside talent from advertising agencies, digital studios, and production companies.
This role sits on the Brand Creative team and reports to the Creative Director. Please note that it’s primarily a brand strategy position, although having some additional comms planning experience would be a bonus.
- 6+ years of experience as a brand strategist at an agency, studio, or in-house.
- Experience running research and insights for large campaigns (examples of case studies preferred).
- Identify new and unique ways to reveal insights.
- Produce creative briefs and briefing sessions that provide the creative team with clear direction.
- Ability to create compelling presentations and sell work to stakeholders.
- Broad awareness of trends in culture and technology.
