Designers who thrive at Work & Co see no boundary between form and function. They are highly strategic, detail-oriented, and multi-skilled, bringing a deep understanding across visual design, user experience, user interface design, branding and even coding.

Creating digital products requires intense collaboration — internally, and with our clients. We believe in prototyping early and often. Our focus is on the end-user, conducting multiple rounds of testing to validate our concepts.

One big difference? Our partners are hands on and you’ll work directly with them. There’s no middle management here. You’ll also work closely with Product Managers, Strategists, and Developers to create original digital products and services that reignite industries and reshape companies.

What You Can Expect to Do

  • Craft graphic elements, assets, and visual treatments that adapt and flow with responsive design systems
  • Partner with front-end developers in creating HTML and CSS-friendly designs
  • Produce brand standards and style guides for creating interactive, user-centric products; create the design and specifications for user interfaces and information architecture
  • Create complex video & motion graphics style frames, exhibition graphics, interface design (both web and interactive installations), visualization, presentation design, information graphics, branding and print graphics using software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects and Keynote
  • Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes visual designers, project managers, product strategists, and developers; and ensure that all interactive graphics and related design are flawless before presentation to clients and/or product launch

What We’re After

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Graphic Design or a related field, plus at least thirty (30) months of experience in the position offered, as a Graphic Designer, or a related occupation, including creating an interactive experience such as websites and apps; art directing and designing websites from concept to production
  • Conceptualizing and designing user-interface designs (UI) and user-experience designs (UX) to create responsive mobile and tablet-friendly interactive sites
  • Experience assisting with Messaging & Branding Consistency and Brand Creation & Reinvention
  • Experience utilizing Adobe CS products, Sketch, Principle, Flinto, Invision, Final Cut Pro, HTML and CSS

At Work & Co, we believe diversity is essential to creating the best digital products. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, citizenship, national origin of employees, religion, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, veteran status or any other legally protected status.

An Insider's view of Work & Co

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Every day, I get to work alongside insanely talented people I respect. Our office environments are designed to help us focus on our craft — whether that be coding or digital design or strategy. We also push against burnout and discourage long hours. No time sheets. Everyone should get to be their best selves both in and out of the office.

Rafael

Design Director

What projects are you most excited about?

Creating products that launch is our priority. Having world-class design and engineering talent ensures that these experiences are beautiful and functional. Utility is also important. We always want to add value to people’s lives.

Muriel

Group Director, Product

How does the company support your career growth?

We believe in mentors, not managers. And we see mentorship as a right. At Work & Co, every employee gets a dedicated mentor from day one. Our flatter structure also means we learn from one another, informally, on an ongoing basis.

Caitlin

Managing Director, Talent

What is your vision for the company?

Work & Co's mission has been clear since day one. We exist to create —and launch— the digital products and experiences millions of people love using every day. We exist to raise the bar. Our approach is to be the best at a few things versus average at a dozen.

Marcelo

Partner, Technology
