WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

In this newly created role, The Trade Desk is looking for a Senior Digital Designer to push the creative envelope. The ideal candidate will have experience designing best-in-class digital marketing assets in a variety of mediums, including digital ad creative (HTML5, rich media), interactive landing pages and eblasts, and explainer videos/animated infographics.

The candidate should possess exceptional design skills and have deep a passion for creating work with impact.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Ability to work within an established brand identity under the direction of the Creative Director
  • Design a diverse scope of work ranging from HTML5 digital banner ads to responsive landing page and eblast campaigns, animated and digital infographics, video editing, and product marketing demo videos.
  • Understanding proper file optimization standards and implication on SEO
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work flow, and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • You are curious, love learning new techniques and testing new ideas

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a digital designer at an agency, or in-house marketing team
  • Solid foundation in HTML, CSS and Javascript coding (expert level in web and user experience design)
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • HTML5 display, mobile and video banner ad animation and rich media ad production skills (experience in embedding tracking and analytics tags)
  • Wireframing, prototyping and web mockups (Sketch/ Adobe Xd, a plus!)
  • Video editing and/or animation experience (Adobe Premiere or Final Cut, a plus!)
  • Experience in PowerPoint and/or Keynote
  • A diverse portfolio that exhibits excellent use of typography, color, and graphic elements (and a clean visual design sense)
  • Well-rounded portfolio that includes banner ads, e-blasts, interactive microsites and any other ridiculously impressive design things you’ve had a hand in
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate on cross-functional teams
  • BFA, Web Design (or similar)
  • Hunger for keeping up-to-date on current technology, trends and web design principals

Nice To Have’s:

  • Experience in the advertising technology space
  • Experience creating explainer videos and animated infographics
  • Video editing and/or animation experience
  • Experience working within and creating design systems

Must be located in New York
