Senior Graphic Designer - Brand
The Senior Marketing Designer will partner with the Marketing team to set an overall design strategy for Newsela’s brand. You will develop concepts and implement designs, aligned with strategic marketing goals, that translate consistently across various channels. You will also assist with all marketing design tasks, such as event campaigns, direct marketing, social media, etc. Reporting to the Director of Brand and Marketing Communications, you will collaborate closely with our product designers to ensure a consistent brand experience and help define our visual approach across Newsela’s platform.

Why We’ll Love You
You have 5+ years of graphic design experience, with practiced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge & Acrobat. You have an innate ability to set design strategy for a Marketing team, and communicate that strategy across a diverse set of stakeholders. A natural collaborator, you can work efficiently across product design, marketing, sales, and engineering teams to ensure brand consistency with user experience, and effectively manage projects toward a deadline. You are well versed in design best practices, and are able to make proactive recommendations for execution, improvements, strategic importance, and appropriate implementation.
