NowThis is seeking a full-time Senior Graphic Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of design principles and should be knowledgeable in areas of branding, motion design, UI/UX, and social media. Responsibilities include overseeing the visual integrity of our snapchat discover channels and developing the visual identity of upcoming NowThis original series.

This is a full-time role on the NowThis design team working directly under our Art Director. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in being part of a diverse environment and working across a wide range of projects that impact millions of young people every day.

Responsibilities:

● Oversee assigned design projects, from conception to delivery
● Work directly with lead art director collaboratively to create consistent and dynamic graphic solutions for all video, interactive, and social needs for Snapchat, Instagram, Original series, and Internal NowThis needs
● Oversee the visual integrity of our Snapchat discover channel
● Assist with and give creative direction in early stages of our Snapchat shows to help establish a visual voice
● Work with producers, studios, and team leads to create any needed graphics for Original Series including, but not limited to, series logos, design system, infographics, illustrations, image-treatments, etc.
● Direct and review motion designers’ work for quality, as well as oversee templating of graphics coordinating between Post-Production lead
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and tools
● Maintain and evolve the brand visual identity and assure it's consistently implemented in all projects

Qualifications:

● An excellent design portfolio with examples of branding and identity
● Experience designing for a variety of platforms, specifically snapchat discover
● Exceptional attention to detail
● Deep understanding of social platforms and digital storytelling
● Strong grasp of design principles: including typography, color, imagery, and composition
● Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot quickly
● Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and communicate progress
● Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. After Effects knowledge a plus!
● Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
● A sense of humor and great attitude
