Shakr is hiring a skilled motion graphics designer who is passionate about making a broad impact with their talent. The ideal candidate would certainly have strong design fundamentals and an advanced grasp of motion graphics techniques, but that would just be a starting point. Intense curiosity and an insatiable desire for improvement, along with strong interpersonal skills are required.

Your foremost role as a motion graphics designer at Shakr will be to increase our team’s ability to lead a global community of designers in producing more effective video marketing templates. You will achieve this by interpreting the latest video marketing insights to create stunningly effective marketing videos. Old notions of what drove effectiveness in the television era shouldn’t be ignored completely, but a thorough willingness to consider the changing landscape of video marketing is necessary. You will question long-standing assumptions and pursue cutting-edge creative experimentation in video marketing.

You are a passionate, hands-on, talented Motion Graphic Designer. You should not only have a basic understanding of design but also an understanding of motion graphics technology, curiosity, willingness to develop, and a good interpersonal relationship. Key Responsibilities:

• Designing video templates, planning and production

• 2D-based overall design work

• Animation work with motion graphics

• Materials search and conference on new design trends

• Understand and investigate new content develop highly visible creative video solutions

• Communicate effectively with strategic and marketing staff to fulfil graphic requests

Qualifications:

•Advanced proficiency with industry standard design tools, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.

•An enthusiasm for sharing and discussing ideas

•A strong desire to learn through analysis and exploration

•Strong knowledge of layout and color

•4 to 7 years of experience cutting-edge design preferably for online media

•Experience in Cinema 4D or 3d modelling a plus

•Creative artistic design ability, with quick turn-around skills

•Proficiency in Social Media trends

•Comfortable working in a startup environment, creating organization and processes where none may already exist

•Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to details

•Must include a link to your motion graphics portfolio/reel to demonstrate your creative talent and skill set

•Brand experience preferred

•Willing and able to handle multiple small daily projects with tight deadlines

•Strong communication skills and team player
