Spring Health is looking for a Senior Product Designer for our growing Customer Experience team that will be pivotal in increasing the number of lives we can help and reimagining the entire mental health experience. You will partner with product, engineering, marketing, sales and more to understand our customers (and their employees) needs to ensure Spring’s product is versatile and flexible for more people. In addition, you will have the opportunity to propose, influence, and work on net-new features that could be the next breakthrough in making mental health more broadly accessible. On a blossoming team of designers, you will mentor and help others hone their existing skill set and try new things.
What you’ll do:
- Discover: Work with product, engineering, customers, and more to conduct research, understand problems, and establish a compelling Customer Experience strategy.
- Execute: Carry strategic projects through all the steps in the design process including: product thinking, product and user research, user analysis, ideation, design, testing and validation, and post-launch activities/evaluations.
- Improve: Uplevel the aesthetic, interaction, and usability of our products across multiple platforms like Web, iOS, and Android through rigorous QA, refinement, and polish.
- Document: Partner with design, engineering, and product to roll out mobile principles, guidelines, and patterns. Create measurable improvements for our Customer Experience team.
- Advocate: Be a design ambassador. Communicate the value of design and connect dots across products, services, and orgs. Mentor other designers.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience as a product designer at a digital product company contributing to or leading the design of product experiences.
- Excellent visual designer across multiple platforms, i.e. Web, iOS, Android, etc. Multiple examples of your ability to design best in class user interfaces.
- Ability to provide both user and business rationale for design decisions.
- Genuine interest in building accessible and inclusive products. Understanding of latest accessibility and usability standards.
- Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally to solve hard problems.
- Experience mentoring newer product designers.
- A portfolio of strong interaction design and product design work.
Nice to have:
- Experience working on customer or growth teams.
- Experience working with distributed teams in multiple time zones.
- Experience working in healthcare.
