The Position
We are looking for an incredibly talented product designer to join our growing creative team. The role demands creative problem solving, great execution and the ambition to take projects from start to finish. You must be someone who is energized by the idea of achieving our ambitious goals with your teammates in Product, Engineering, and Marketing. You're a critical thinker with an innovative approach to making products simple enough for anyone to understand and use.
The Role
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to influence the shape of the product from conception to execution and beyond through a user centered approach.
- Speak with users, collect data, and translate research insights into meaningful outcomes. You’ll work iteratively to uncover problems and quickly find solutions.
- You’ll initiate and lead design sprints, workshops and iterate on the vision to develop new features that are high quality and easy to use.
- Test your interactions through prototyping and collaborate with Product Management and Engineers to prioritize and ship.
- Question assumptions and advocate for change.
- Help shape design as a practice within the company.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience designing in an agile environment.
- Experience designing and shipping iOS and Android apps.
- Your portfolio isn’t just high-fidelity mockups, you show process, sketches, collaboration, and reflection. You have at least two detailed case study.
- You’ve taken large problems and broken them down into bite-sized measurable chunks.
- You advocate for design by articulating and presenting the rationale behind your proposed ideas.
- You care about moving your team forward and look for ways to positively impact the team, not just the product.
- Experienced in first-hand user research and owning your design process.
- You’re focused on results and constantly looking for ways to make the consumer experience better by initiating feedback, assessing data and designing multiple options.
- You take the time to seek out and provide meaningful feedback, because you know it’s the best way to grow.
