The Role

The Senior UX Copywriter is responsible for crafting a cohesive narrative across Breather’s digital and physical product experiences. By creating content designed to help users achieve their goal, and developing a strategy for how and when to reach users with that content, the Senior UX Copywriter combines the art of copy with the science of conversion optimization and user research.

The Senior UX Copywriter will be part of a close-knit growth pod that works in tandem with marketing, product, sales and engineering to create a seamless path for users to follow across each interaction they have with Breather, from initial discovery to becoming a fully-engaged customer.

As a Senior UX & Performance Copywriter at Breather, you will:

• Develop user-centric experiences incorporating strategic messaging and positioning for Breather’s individual use cases that fit into a holistic whole
• Write and edit copy contained within Breather’s websites and products, including in-app and in-space copy, as well as ad copy and marketing campaigns
• Ensure the consistent application of Breather’s voice and messaging strategy across all marketing, product, and support content
• Work in tandem with product to design content and interactions that both serve user needs and maximize the value created for Breather
• Identify opportunities for conversion optimization and user experience improvements across Breather’s digital properties and products
• Propose hypotheses for A/B tests and other research initiatives, and integrate results into future copy and campaigns

Helpful skills and experience you’ll need to succeed:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience writing copy for apps, web-based products, and in-product messaging in a B2B or SaaS environment
• Mastery of written English with a voice and perspective of your own
• An obsession with UX and an eye for great design
• You’re able to contribute in a close-knit team environment and you’re a great communicator, but you’re also perfectly comfortable working autonomously and can figure stuff out on your own
• You have good analytics capability, excellent hands-on skills and someone that enjoys delivering products and results
• Experience with SEM campaigns (paid search, SEO)
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript

Nice to haves:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French
• Experience in real estate tech or similar industries
