Senior UX/UI Designer (US Remote)

In this role you will:

  • Perform user research to identify pain points and innovation opportunities, then analyzing and applying the data to create consumer-focused prototypes and experiments that translate into scalable solutions. 
  • Conceptualize and generate ideas through team workshops and design sprints, then translate into wireframes, prototypes, and experiments to validate 
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to engineering design reviews
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Participate in user research, client and field feedback, to evaluate where optimization and opportunities need to be explored
  • Present designs to senior management and key cross-team stakeholders for buy-in
  • Collaborate daily with product, engineering, and management on current and future initiatives 
  • Develop and institute product development practices through the lens of consumer-focused design

You should be an expert in:

  • 8+ years of proven UX/UI experience, designing consumer-facing tools for multiple platforms including desktop, mobile, tablet.
  • Ability to lead projects end-to-end, from concept to delivery, and support ongoing improvements to products and features.
  • Strong practical knowledge in user-experience principles and user-centered design processes.
  • Ability to start from wire-frames and lead all the way to interactive prototypes for enabling A/B testing and UX research
  • Working in a highly collaborative environment distributed across many countries. Proven record of creating and maintaining working relationships with senior management, functional counterparts and business partners.
  • Performing user research to identify pain points and innovation opportunities, then analyzing and applying the data to create consumer-focused prototypes and experiments that translate into scalable solutions. 
  • Leading Design sprints with product managers and engineers
  • Proficiency with a variety of design tools such as Sketch, Illustrator, Marvel, Axure or similar.
  • Web-based information architecture and responsive design.
  • An online portfolio showcasing experience creating user-centered design solutions. Your portfolio should illustrate design solutions that solve customer pain points and experience innovation. It should demonstrate ability to solve UX challenges with complex workflows, and scalable user-friendly design solutions.
  • Applying style guide best practices and establishing design principles that scale.
  • Passion for conversational design and language understanding, voice-interface design, or interactive design is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to confidently communicate and defend design rationale clearly and persuasively.
  • Bachelor's degree in digital design, graphic design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience as interactive/user experience designer.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, persistence, creativity, diplomacy, and a sense of humor.
