Senior Visual Designer at The Participation Agency
We're on the hunt for a senior designer to join The Participation Agency's creative team in the NYC LES area. Projects and scope of work will cover web, experiential, print & more. This is not a position where you will sit at your desk for 8 hours a day doing the same straightforward thing — expect to dabble in a whole lot of critical thinking, self-sufficient art direction and sometimes even a teeny tiny amount of production.
We specialize in output that balances marketing goals and artistic flavor, with clients ranging from Fortune 10 brands to start-ups looking to get in the door. Real spaces and real people inspire us; art, music, tech and boundary breaking ideas pique our interest. We're always looking to add like-minded individuals to our crew. In the past year, our execution lineup has included:
– a music strategy program and full visual buildout of a private house for a renowned microphone brand
– a SXSW campaign for one of the biggest dating apps in the game
– retainer work and project management for an exclusive VIP only location in prime Soho for a tech giant
– company owned initiatives that give us the design playground to truly flex and express ourselves freely without client-driven motives
Utmost proficiency in the Creative Suite is an ABSOLUTE MUST (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, you know the drill...) Keynote proficiency is also an ABSOLUTE MUST. Motion and animation skills, 3D skills (SketchUp, Rhino, Blendr, Cinema 4D etc.) and knowledge of html / css are all huge bonuses.
2–4 years of experience is preferred, although professional experience is less important to us if you have the design eye and chops to back up your talent.
