As a core member of the Kinship Growth creative team, the Sr Visual Designer will be responsible for developing inspiring brand identities, advertising campaigns, design systems and creative storytelling solutions. 

HOW YOU’LL HELP EVERYONE PET PARENT LIKE A PRO

Reporting in to our Creative Director, you will care for your assigned Kinship portfolio brands from a visual design perspective, so everything they put into the world looks outstandingly good and connects impactfully and meaningfully with target audiences. You’ll also help us define what the next wave of Millennial pet care brands looks like, and execute and maintain those brands through beautifully designed comms and experiences. 

Specifically:

  • Design brand, campaign, and content platform executions across a wide range of media, that adhere to brand guidelines, and support brand and business strategy.
  • Through your work, set and uphold high standards of aesthetic quality. Work with the creative team and project manager to deliver quality solutions for project pipeline requests swiftly and on time.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (marketing, product, dev, social media) to develop leading edge visual communications.
  • Maintain aesthetic consistency for your brands, working to find meaningful expressions within brand standards and guidelines.
  • Help develop, manage, and create evolving visual guidelines, specifically centered around visual expressions and storytelling, including print, digital, OOH, events, video and social assets.
  • Assist in creating brand and social engagement strategy, ideating as well as executing, with thoughtfulness and attention to detail.
  • Continue to deepen knowledge and understanding of best practices, industry trends, and new skills in design.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Qualified candidates should have 5+ years of experience developing brand design systems and advertising creative that supports brand, campaign and content strategy
  • Proficient in graphic design principles, best practices and trends (typography, grids, layout, color), UX, UI and must be a Adobe CC expert. Familiarity with Figma a plus. 
  • Self-starter, dedicated to crafting and improving visual communication, workflows and processes
  • Passion for building world-class brands and visual storytelling across all mediums
  • Desire to have a direct hand in transforming and growing Kinship and our partner brands

Our New York City office is conveniently located right off the 28th street 6 train station bustling with fantastic cafes, restaurants, and bars. A few blocks away is gorgeous Madison Square Park where you can pick up SweetGreen nearby and have lunch with a view.
