TEAM & POSITION OVERVIEW:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated technical talent to pursue a career in an innovative and fast-growing company. This role sits in the Product department (Engineering, Product & Science) within the Engineering group. The mission of the Product department is to build business intelligence applications to solve practical marketing analytics problems. The UI Designer role is focused on visual interactive interface design through user interaction with our products, how the users process information, and ultimately how Analytic Partner's engagement products both "look" and "feel".
At its core, this role is responsible for the creation of a User Interface in a visually systematic way that ensures a holistic, consistent experience across our full suite of products. Success in this role will require a self-starter that is highly motivated, organized with the ability to communicate across team functions. This individual will also be open to candid feedback and critique as we strive to evolve our solution offerings. The UI Designer will work directly with the Software Engineering, Product Management to drive AP's vision of our next generation of solution offerings.
You will join a multi-disciplinary team where Hard Work, Creativity , Vision and Talent is valued and rewarded. Development work is geared toward assisting Fortune 500 class clients discover real-world opportunities and efficiencies in their businesses.
This role will be an integral part of shaping the user experience for our next-generation analytic solutions designed and built for our global clients. We work within an agile environment utilizing SCRUM concepts. This position offers tremendous professional growth opportunities.
YOU WILL OWN & COLLABORATE ON:

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Analytic Partner's UI styles, patterns, and standardization
  • Manage your bandwidth and pipeline to execute UI design in sync with our roadmap vision
  • Quickly iterate and offer versions based on design critique from peers
  • Execute final UI designs and package, spec, and prep for engineering
  • Strive for visual perfection and provide feedback to engineering
  • Maintain design systems and libraries to ensure visual consistency
  • Ensure a unified experience across the board through deep collaboration and an iterative approach to product design


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED:

  • 3+ years of experience creating visual design for the digital space
  • BFA/BS/BA Graphic Design, Art, Marketing or closely related field
  • Solid understanding of designing intuitive site/application functionality & user interactions
  • Experience working with engineers to develop/iterate on interactive software experiences
  • Robust organization and prioritization skills to navigate tight timelines
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to work independently
  • Top tier user interface and interaction design skills
  • A focus and dedication on how products "look" and "feel"
  • Strong conceptual thinking, self-motivated, and driven
  • An exceptional design velocity with the ability to quickly produce multiple concepts.
  • A strong understanding of the tools and technologies used in designing and building robust interactive software experiences
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Required: Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite as well as other design prototyping tools
  • Optional: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
