Who You Are:
We are looking for a user-experience (UX) designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. The UX designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate client’s product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new functions and features.
- Work closely with our product managers, designers and engineers to define the best way to approach a problem.
- Have a solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
- Create prototypes that showcase design concepts and sustainable interaction patterns.
Requirements
- BA in Graphic Design, User Interaction, or related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 5 years experience with a portfolio that showcases a user-centered approach to design.
- Understanding of HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
- Team player and self-starter with a passion for design and finding smart solutions to complex problems.
