The Particle Health team is seeking a UI/UX Designer with experience in visual, user interface and user experience design to join its product team. Under the supervision of the Head of UI/UX, this role will work closely with the product and engineering teams as well as collaborate cross-functionally across the organization. 

This is a great opportunity for an early-career designer to get hands-on experience working on a range of design projects from customer-facing web experiences and brand collateral to internal web platforms and design systems.

Responsibilities (What you'll be doing):

• Collaborate with and support the Head of Design on UX/UI design: wireframes, information architecture, dynamic interactions, and the associated visual designs
• Increase the Design team’s fluency in UX/UI problem-solving and design approaches, staying up to date on the latest and incorporating them into presentations, prototypes, and design specs.
• Illustrate and present design options using process flows, prototypes, and sitemaps along with thorough research and analysis
• Act as partner to Product and Engineering, responding to requests and handing off design work for development
• Support Marketing’s efforts with digital design work, including but not limited to website build-outs and digital marketing assets
• Serve as internal Brand Ambassador, evangelizing and ensuring adherence to brand standards and guidelines across the company

Requirements (What you bring):

• At least 2 years of professional UX/UI design experience, preferably in an in-house or agency environment 
• Core UI/UX design skills including the development of design systems, intuitive interaction models, information architecture, user flows and pattern guides
• Experience with creative software including Sketch, Adobe Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), UXPin
• Experience working with non-creative internal stakeholders, such as engineering teams or sales
• A design-thinking approach grounded in customer research and analysis
• Skills in graphic design and typography with layout experience
• Strong working knowledge of user-centered design, brand identity management, digital marketing and the creative process
• Proactive, responsive approach with a customer-centric attitude
• Ability to manage multiple project streams with competing priorities
