How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

At Collibra we make data meaningful for our Data Citizens. You understand why and how a human-centered design approach transforms a business. As the UX Architect, you’ll work with the Design team and UX Developers on building a coherent, delightful and scalable framework for our customers and end users that allows them to make data meaningful within their specific context. 

You’ll report to the VP of Design. This is a team that has been through rapid growth, will continue to grow, and with your help will continue on the path to drive cohesion, product vision, execution excellence, and excellent cross-functional relationships further advancing design’s strategic value within the organization.

A day in the life of a UX Architect at Collibra:

You’ll be reporting directly to the VP of Design, and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Create the information architecture for existing and upcoming user scenarios/products/solutions
  • Generate user flow diagrams, E2E journey maps, functional annotations, and wireframes to explain the info structure and design strategy to our business partners in product management, engineering, and C-level leadership
  • Collaborate closely with the UX researchers to design appropriate testing scenarios; iterate quickly with UX designers and product owners towards a desired design state
  • Ensure feasibility, scalability and adoption of our design system
  • Seek constant customer connection/input, and use the insights to improve the product experience
  • Use data and evidence to support decisions
  • Build strong relationships with developers and evolve existing structures to optimize for scalability and usability

You Have:

  • Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7 or more years of working experience as a UX Architect
  • Technical background, with experience designing complex B2B experiences that balance user needs, business requirements, technological constraints
  • Highly proficient in technology and software development as it relates to design, particularly UI frameworks and design system development
  • Demonstrated success of building customer relationships and being customer facing
  • Knowledge of relevant software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, UX-related, Prototyping, InVision, Flinto, Marvel, Proto.io, Abstract, Balsamiq etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Portfolio illustrating your work and aptitude as an architect
