SiO Beauty is an exciting new anti-wrinkle skincare line that leverages medical grade silicone, an ingredient that has been used by doctors for burns and scars for more than 30 years. Launched in July 2016, SiO started with a proprietary skincare patch that focused on the decollette.  We added new products for the face in July 2017, which immediately more than doubled sales, subscribers and influencer buzz.  We focus on direct to consumer marketing using top of the curve digital, marketing and conversion strategies.

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, organized and entrepreneurially minded Digital Marketing Manager. In this role you will be responsible for all acquisition and retention campaigns for SiO. You will develop strategies to grow our marketing channels, monitoring and reporting all relevant metrics. You will also work on site optimization to help improve the customer experience.  In this role, you will work cross functionally - from PR to Creative to Tech  -- to support customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate lives and breathes analytics but also has a creative eye, and has experience with paid social, SEM, SEO, email and other digital channels.

SiO is housed within Loeb.nyc, a venture lab founded by Loeb Enterprises, so you will work in a shared open space environment with a number of other dynamic, leading edge start ups. As the Digital Marketing Manager you will also help support the team in almost all aspects of the business, including finance, operations, digital and print marketing, public relations, social media, market research, product development, branding and creative development.

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Digital Marketing
    • Scale existing direct response marketing channels, keeping a constant eye on growth and KPI’s per channel. You must be familiar with a variety of marketing channels including paid social, email, SEM, etc. and know how to report on each channel
    • Explore and launch new channels to help diversify the marketing mix to drive growth
    • Oversee marketing budgets + resources
    • Manage Shopify site (including creative + development) to support all marketing initiatives and improve the customer on site experience
    • Build an A/B testing plan across channels and communicate insights to all key stakeholders
  • Creative Development
    • In partnership with Brand Marketing develop digitally led creative briefs, partner with creative teams, provide feedback and source creative benchmarks
    • Ensure storytelling is consistent with the brand voice across channels
    • Think out of the box to break through the clutter to tell the brand story through your marketing channels and enhance the brands value overall
  • Misc.
    • Manage promotion and content calendar
    • Partner with agency and external partners on budgets, project plans, content calendars and timelines
    • Conduct research on customer pain points, and use that to guide product development, operations & cutomer care
    • Stay updated on competitive landscape
    • Maintain budgets, forecasting, inventory and scheduling for all executed initiatives
    • Assist with offline campaigns, from trade shows to PR events
    • Assist in various office and administrative tasks (no task is too small attitude)

 

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years experience working in a growth or performance based marketing role at a brand or agency
  • Passion for thinking creatively, developing and executing ideas
  • Excellent project & time management skills, great at communicating cross-functionally to key stakeholders
  • An eye to develop, critique and evolve creative marketing content
  • Experienced with social & web analytics tools (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Google Analytics etc.)
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Direct to Consumer, Subscription & Email Marketing platforms such as Klaviyo / MailChimp is a bonus!
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude who can take a project and run with it
  • A motivated, curious, friendly demeanor with a team player mentality
  • Experience with a growing brand or start up
