We are hiring a Digital Strategy Manager in our New York City office.

About the Role:

You will serve as a client leader, project manager, and strategist contributing to targeted digital advertising and marketing efforts on behalf of some of the country’s most prominent companies, trade associations, non-profits, and advocacy organizations. In this role, you will counsel clients on the implementation of and best practices for Applecart’s products, such as digital strategy and reporting, across their corporate reputation, public affairs, and B2B marketing campaigns. Your strategic recommendations, performance reports, and data-driven analysis will directly impact client outcomes. You will work with a talented team of senior communications professionals, digital marketing and media strategists, client associates, data scientists, and analysts who, together, drive outcomes for Applecart’s high-profile clients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact and digital leader on 8-12 client accounts. Work directly with a Senior Managing Director to service accounts with support of a project manager and cross-functional team members 
  • Manage up to senior stakeholders across Applecart and mentor team members 
  • Lead client delivery process; coordinate internally and with external partners and clients to ensure deliverables are completed to high standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build and execute digital paid media plans and budgets that achieve the goals of major corporate reputation, public affairs, and B2B marketing campaigns 
  • Produce strategic, insightful, polished and error-free digital advertising reports (analytics snapshots, etc.) and present them to clients when needed 
  • Communicate clearly, comfortably, and expertly with clients at various levels about the company’s product offerings, verbally and in written form
  • Bring intellectual curiosity to help clients tackle complex challenges

Experiences and Capabilities You Bring:

  • 4+ years of digital advertising experience in public affairs, corporate, or B2B marketing; agency experience strongly preferred   
  • Demonstrated comfort managing relationships with client stakeholders
  • Experience working with Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Search, and Twitter Ads
  • A thorough understanding of best practices for measuring and reporting on the performance of persuasion, brand awareness, and direct response digital advertising campaigns
  • Experience producing intuitive, client-ready business memos and decks that shape strategy
  • Passion for coaching and empowering junior team members, and collaborating with colleagues representing various areas of expertise
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced, entrepreneurial work environment
  • Success managing multiple tight timelines while maintaining a cool confidence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; impeccable attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel
  • An energetic, upbeat disposition and excellent sense of humor

This is a hybrid role. Work from anywhere on Monday and Friday and in Applecart's New York City office Tuesday through Thursday. 

Compensation:

Our compensation package consists of three components: (i) a base salary, (ii) annual cash bonus, and (iii) generous equity compensation.

The base salary range for this role is between $100,000.00-$125,000.00, based on the candidate's experience and skills relative to the requirements listed above. The salary range provided is exclusive of a significant amount of compensation that candidates will receive in the form of cash bonus and equity compensation. The salary range provided for this role is specific to candidates located in the New York City area.
