The Director, Ad Tech Partnerships and Business Development collaborates with internal stakeholders across implementation and management of all Ad Tech Stack and digital ecosystem related third party relationships contracts and associated support. 

The ideal candidate will have in depth knowledge of the ad tech targeting, attribution, and measurement providers and be an expert in negotiating and contracting with vendors and customers for a growing variety of advertising delivery mediums and technology including digital, addressable TV, and data driven linear media sales.

This position has full accountability for leading and completing such contracts in support of the DIRECTV Ad Sales business from identification of potential partners/vendors including initial screening/vetting and then contract negotiation, documentation and onboarding, stakeholder management and on-going relationship management, contractual compliance, and service level enforcement.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Support and drive cross-functional collaboration regarding legal and business inspection and approvals of various data and ad technology vendors/partners.
  • Develop, manage, and drive to conclusion the comprehensive negotiation of contract terms.
  • Management of the contractual relationships for DIRECTV Ad Sales and collaboration with the cross functional client team on day-to-day performance.
  • Independent leadership in client, customer, and vendor relationship development and management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to all levels of management.
  • Supervisor supports one employee.

This is a highly complex area requiring a minimum of 4 – 6 years of personnel management, direct contract negotiation, customer and vendor management, and ad technology/advertising experience in both addressable TV and digital video.

Training and Special Skills:

  • Preferred BA/BS in Business Administration.
  • JD or ability to work legal red line negotiations a plus.

May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law.

This role requires but is not limited to approximately 5% travel.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position and work location(s) listed in the job posting US Labor Market Zone(s). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

N4: $147,919 - $221,818
