Our goal is to add an ambitious person who is committed to growing the business. We're looking for someone who loves all things email, building new campaigns from scratch, thrives in a fast paced environment, and has successfully executed large complex lifecycle email campaigns. This will be a hands on role managing multiple e-mail projects with timely and flawless execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end to end execution of email campaigns (one offs and drip) including setup, coding, building using HTML, testing and deployment using email service provider, Sailthru
  • Manage calendar for all consumer facing emails
  • Conduct final QA of all e-mails, ensuring all ensuring all links, images, subject lines, and list segments are accurate and working properly
  • Set up A/B testing to determine winning creatives, offers and subject lines
  • Gather requirements and data from internal teams to determine accurate segmentations and the best method of delivery (plain text or HTML)
  • Develop landing pages to support promotional offers
  • Manage the fulfillment of promotional offers
  • Monitor email delivery, unsubscribe rate and e-mail metrics
  • Evaluate email vendors and lead all integration efforts
  • Define requirements for triggers, automation and personalization and work with Engineering to develop API’s

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of hands on email campaign experience at a consumer-facing company including coding and setting up complex campaigns and emails with extensive logic and branching, A/B testing and personalization.
  • In depth knowledge and experience using an enterprise wide ESP (Sailthru, ExactTarget, Responsys). Sailthru experience a big plus.
  • Experience setting up lifecycle campaigns – welcome series/onboarding, triggers, abandoned cart
  • Experience with marketing automation and personalization software and tools
  • Proven understanding of email best practices
  • Highly driven, results focused and won’t settle for mediocrity
  • Strong technical proficiency; comfortable learning new systems
  • Ability to multi-task and experience in a high volume email marketing team.
  • Intermediate HTML knowledge and CSS
  • Knowledge of Photoshop
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Team player with a can do attitude
  • BA/BS, preferably in Computer Science, Math, Sciences, Marketing or Business with strong academic record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience at a medium to late stage consumer tech/e-commerce start-up
  • Consumer subscription experience
  • Knowledge of SQL, Looker and experience analyzing data
