Email Production Specialist/Manager
The Opportunity:
Shutterstock is looking for an Email Production Specialist to join our Marketing team. The Email Production Specialist will be a critical member of the CRM team. Reporting to the Senior CRM Production Manager, this position is responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing campaigns in a multi-business unit, multi-language environment. This includes setup, maintenance, and review of ad-hoc and triggered email communications. The Email Production Specialist must maintain a current understanding of email marketing best practices and apply them to the execution of email campaigns.

Responsibilities:
Work with a cross functional CRM team in the production of email programs for multiple business units in 20 languages
Work closely with Marketing team to gather requirements, create test plans, manage project timelines, and set up any promotion codes for email campaigns
Coordinate set-up, testing, deployment, and monitoring of email campaigns
Ensure accuracy of all email marketing assets
Conduct quality check test for compatibility with web browsers, and to ensure links, images, subject lines and list segments function properly
Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required
Utilize list segmentation, personalization, and content optimization to increase return on investment
Maintain and refine marketing lists
Manage email campaign tracking to ensure ability to analyze and attribute success of all email efforts
Monitor deliverability and follow up on any resulting issues
Incorporate industry best practice tools and techniques for email platform optimization
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree followed by at least 1 year relevant work experience
Experience with large-scale email service provider applications; Responsys proficiency is strongly preferred
Technical aptitude (Excel and HTML experience are key and SQL is a plus)
Strong communicator, outstanding writing, proofreading, grammar and spelling skills
Proactive approach to problem solving, testing, and critical thinking.
Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills
Acute attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high quality campaign launch
Understanding of email marketing best practices, CANSPAM, and the opt-in/out process
