As a Senior Software Engineering Lead you'll combine your proven expertise with a never-ending quest to create innovative technology through solid engineering practices. You will own and improve the Automation as a Service application framework to insure it can support over 5 million transactions monthly in a controlled and auditable manner. You'll lead a highly inspired and inquisitive global team of technologists who are already developing and deploying applications to the highest standards. With your deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing, and application programming, your team will raise their game even more, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your passion and experience in one or more technology domains will help solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally.
Key technical domain responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of the automation platform

    • Scaling of platform for lower latency and an increase in DAU

Key leadership and architecture responsibilities

  • Engage with technology leaders to decide technology direction, set goals consistent with our strategy, and communicate progress
  • Engage with business stakeholders and other IT leaders to plan and deliver solutions that meet business needs and support enterprise architecture principles
  • Develop current, target and transition state architectural roadmaps in alignment with functional requirements and product roadmaps
  • Define the architectural representations for capabilities and features across technology domain areas along with their operational state and metrics
  • Define architectural guidelines and principles that deliver secure, reliable, stable and world class cloud based IaaC automation platforms and services
  • Develop reference and solutions architectures in collaboration with cross-domain leads, infrastructure engineers, software engineers and product owner
  • Serve as the primary liaison and representative for technology domain areas for engagements with stakeholders and technology partners
  • Talent development for the application development team
  • Lead the application development team to ensure high quality on time deliverables
  • Develop and proactively manage a portfolio of application and technology initiatives
  • Develop a team structure that aligns skills sets of the development team with business deliverables


Your Qualifications:

  • 12+ years industry experience with focus on developing, deploying and supporting technology business solutions; 5+ years in enterprise cloud based architecture
  • Experience leading global development teams of 5+ members to deliver application solutions on predictable timelines and in alignment with business expectations
  • Experience in coaching and mentorship of junior and experienced developers
  • Broad technology experience throughout systems development lifecycle, and various areas of technology architecture (infrastructure, application architecture, data architecture, integrations)
  • Deep experience in developing applications with micro-services architecture
  • Experience with Core Java/J2EE, SpringBoot, Angular & Cloud Foundry
  • Experience in driving software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders and customers
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to take principled bets on new technology
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience of working in a matrix management model, utilizing virtual teams
  • Excellent communicator at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to forge strong relationships and build a wide network throughout the firm
