Meeting your future team:

  • As data volumes grow rapidly, so does the time spent on processes to clean and organize that data. This means that the potential of smart automation features driven by AI will become key differentiators for the Collibra software platform. 
  • You will be at the center of product innovation by leveraging your state-of-the art ML and software engineering skills to transform ideas into reality. 
  • You will take the lead in bringing projects to production but you will also have the opportunity to come up with new ideas

AI Engineers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Bring ML models to production, by working on your own models and those produced by team members. You work closely with other product teams to help them build awesome product features using those models.
  • Support and develop our ML platform and other tooling for the deployment of ML models, both in the Cloud (AWS, GCP and Azure) and on the Edge
  • Take full ownership of the projects that are developed within the team, from development to operational support for production models. 
  • Support our learning culture by sharing your state-of-the-art knowledge through internal and external presentations

You Have:

  • A Master's degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, etc., or equivalent industry experience,
  • Proficiency in Java and Python, experience with other programming languages is a bonus,
  • Experience with software development tools and processes (git, testing, peer review)
  • Experience creating and deploying machine learning projects, and 
  • Full working proficiency in English

You Are:

  • Broadly interested in data- and ML-related technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, TensorFlow, PyTorch, ....) and are comfortable getting used to them,
  • Fully aware that building AI-driven features is a team effort that entails much more than training a model.
  • Agile-minded, have a positive mindset and put quality first,
  • Eager to learn, and to apply new skills and knowledge to our projects. You want to share your knowledge with team members and other Collibrians.

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will have a good understanding of the Collibra product offering and the AI Engineering projects. 
  • Within your third month, you will have made contributions to projects that are running in production. 
  • Within your sixth month, you will be leading a few projects and initiatives, and you will propose your own initiatives based on the needs of the team and your own unique perspective.
