Vimeo OTT helps video creators, niche programmers, and major media partners grow thriving businesses. As an engineer our OTT API Team, you’ll build our core API and services, which power internal and external websites and a suite of mobile and smart TV apps.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Write clean, well-tested, and performant code for our API, using Ruby on Rails and other web technologies.
- Architect and build quality services, including payments, identity, and video.
- Build and improve features for Vimeo OTT (e.g. advertising, live video, and more).
- Join a collaborative product team that sets strategy and key metrics to create value for our API’s users.
- Improve performance, monitoring, alerting, and security for our services.
WHAT WE’RE EXPECTING:
- You are a Ruby on Rails expert, with experience delivering production API’s.
- You prioritize shipping user value and have the agile experience to help our whole team focus on our users.
- You communicate and collaborate well while working with non-technical teammates.
- You set an example for high-quality code and automated tests.
BONUS:
- You have experience with DevOps tools like AWS, Heroku, and Docker.
