Vimeo OTT is searching for a junior engineer to join our OTT Payments team. You'll help with development, testing, and documentation of features ranging from tax collection to seller payouts. We're a department within Vimeo that caters to larger customers who want to deliver video with their own brand. Here, your impact will be felt quickly, with happier clients, staff, and fellow developers.

OTT is a multi-faceted platform, where you'll learn about billing and payment systems, video delivery, data collection, background processing, and much more. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Finance to help build and ensure the quality and correctness of our payments system.

What you'll do

• Test, document, pair-program, and contribute to feature development with our team!
• Join the engineering culture of OTT and Vimeo at-large, and participate in retros, outings, talks, and more.
• Identify and build tools to improve the payments QA workflow.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• CS degree or equivalent training.
• Professional development experience.
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of the tools — Ruby/Rails, JavaScript, SQL, Git, Jira, etc.
• Enthusiasm and strong desire to learn.
