The Role

As a Business Development Operations (BD Ops) Technical Analyst, you will develop applications, automation, and interconnect systems to solve pain points inside and outside the company. You will work side-by-side with Forward Deployed Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, and internal support teams to to evolve Palantir's infrastructure, implement process improvements, and craft custom tools for our colleagues.

On the BD Ops team, no week is quite like the last, but each project starts with a problem statement, then follows through development, setting up deployability, and monitoring. As a BD Ops Technical Analyst, you're empowered to own each project from end to end.

Projects have included:

  • Creating a full stack solution for telemetry and time series analysis of performance and usage metrics
  • Building an automated pipeline for deploying Stack Overflow Enterprise to AWS (Medium)
  • Working with the Site Reliability Engineering Team on automation of system installation from laptops to blade servers
  • Accelerating business growth by creating a toolkit for sourcing and prioritizing new business opportunities
  • Open sourcing our work and publishing back to the open source community

What We Value

  • BS/MS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Enterprise Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience in coding Java, Python, HTML5/JS
  • Experience with AWS, Hashicorp, Kubernetes
  • Practical experience managing databases or search engines, such as Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra or ElasticSearch
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, preferred
  • Ability to succeed independently with minimal supervision
  • Skepticism of the status quo
