Our high performing Cloud & Tooling team is building the next generation of cloud capability to enable our product teams to adopt AWS and public cloud. You’ll build & run services used by across the business, you’ll help drive best practices standards such as infrastructure as code.

You will be part of a team that is passionate about driving *very* high standards that form part of our AWS Landing Zone and cloud offering.

The Cloud & Tooling team provide best practices, patterns & consultancy to our product teams so we can deliver applications to market faster.

What You Will Do: 

  • Help drive our expansion into Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud capability
  • Determine technical requirements for our AWS Landing Zone and Overall Cloud Capability
  • Work with all internal customers to help iterate and mature our Cloud and Tooling Capability
  • Be responsible for the architectural design, governance adherence and stakeholder agreement for all your designs
  • Ensure that all designs meet the business needs, are clearly articulated, are of very high quality and well communicated.
  • Serve as the SME on all things cloud architecture and infrastructure
  • Drive large scale, high impact, and complex technology initiatives
  • Mentor team leaders and team members toward foundational cloud infrastructure best practices
  • Develop technical roadmaps that ensure business and service continuity
  • Assist with vendor relationships, contract negotiations, etc.
  • Work closely with IT Security to ensure to monitor, enhance, and ensure the organization’s cloud privacy

What You Will Need:

  • Fluent in Cloud / AWS platforms
  • Excellent architectural experience in a large enterprise AWS environment
  • Understanding of cloud native technologies
  • Ideally you will have AWS certifications, but these aren’t required so don’t worry if you don’t have them
  • In depth knowledge of networking concepts including VPCs, Direct Connects, Firewalls, Routing and switching.
  • Understand the concepts of Infrastructure as code and ideally have written some code
  • You’ll have autonomy to build a world class cloud capability across Caesars.
  • A passion for infrastructure
  • Excellent understanding of containerization technology including Kubernetes, EKS, etc. 
  • Passionate about documentation and logging design / architectural decisions.
  • Have a deeply technical background whilst having the ability to create clear designs and communicate clearly with key stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of APIs

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time                                          
  • Must be able to type and talk on the phone for extended periods of time                                     
  • Regular attendance in the office
