We are looking for strong technical foundations in data, distributed computing, and software engineering. We take in feedback daily, but simultaneously filter it through our lenses of privacy and security to output the best user experiences for engineers to build decentralized ML models.

As the Cloud DevOps Engineer at Devron, you will design, build, and ensure that Devron's services, both internally critical and customer-facing, have reliability and uptime based on users' expectations. You will work continuously on infrastructure application design and scalability. You also will be working closely with Product, Operations, and Engineering to assess customer feedback, assess stability, plan future scalability, and identify critical improvements.

What You'll Do

• You will design & build out the scalable infrastructure that runs all of Devron's critical applications
• You will run and stabilize Devron's production services that support critical applications and backend processes
• You will design, build, monitor, and maintain the scaling of services that are integrated internally and externally
• You will manage end-to-end availability and performance of critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence
• You will add, tune and maintain alert configurations and documentation as needed
• You will work to design, build, and monitor security and access control systems
• You will design and build advanced automated operational and deployment frameworks alongside tooling and infrastructure to help engineering teams measure and increase their velocity
• You will cultivate full-team participation in high quality, thoughtful software
• You will participate in on-call/production support

What You'll Need

• You are fluent in any two modern programming languages (Python, Java, Go, C++, etc.)
• You have strong experience with coding and debugging
• Experience in Machine Learning operations
• You demonstrate a practical understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
• You should also have DevOps/SRE experience
• Engineering and supporting production services in a modern, containerized cloud environment
• Scalable testing, automation, continuous integration frameworks, and best practices
