CTO (Remote)
About The Company
MedArrive exists to expand access to care, drive efficiency, and reduce healthcare expenses by supporting an under-utilized healthcare resource: EMS providers. With COVID-19, we offer actionable solutions to immediately relieve the burden facing our healthcare system. Our mission is simple, Improving people's lives by bringing more humanity to healthcare in the home. Our enemy is an often soulless, transactional healthcare system that’s increasingly engineering the vital human touch away from the experience - and often hard to access.
MedArrive is a tech and healthcare services business that enables EMS providers (EMTs and paramedics) to provide care in non-traditional settings under physicians' oversight. The primary use case is care in the home, e.g., ongoing chronic condition monitoring for a homebound patient by an EMS provider under an EMS professional's oversight of a physician or urgent care response. Our company partners with EMS agencies to leverage their excess capacity on the labor supply side, health systems to gain access to overseeing physicians and payers to set up reimbursement pathways for these services.
We are a fast-growing start-up looking for a senior & creative technical leader who has new product and scaling experience with preferably a background in the healthcare or consumer industries.
About The Role
Your primary focus will be to execute our beta & scaled products to serve the needs of our hospitals, EMS providers, and patients in a near real time fashion across a national geography. We are looking for a scrappy senior leader that can iterate on immediate technical priorities and also define a long-term execution architecture that can scale with our service offerings. This leader must be laser focused and senior enough to meet the technical needs of our partners, interact with technical executives at large healthcare corporations, and have a passion for creating features that solve real problems for the patients we serve.
Our product is a multi-stakeholder platform that requires your ability to balance the needs of multiple primary users, prioritize, and build perfectly. This includes understanding system architectures that integrate legacy enterprise systems and new cloud-based consumer features.
Who You Are
You are a pragmatic leader that knows how to extract the most out of talented engineers, self-recruit a variety of engineers, and source outsourced development companies for staff-augmentation. We expect you to be a senior leader that can not only zoom out as part of the executive team meetings and executive conversations with partners, but dive into the technical details and help execute with the team and customers. Apart from these, as an early team member, you will play a key role in driving the team's charter and long-term plans.
You should have good knowledge of back-end systems architecture, health systems, and growth hacks to onboard customers onto our product. This role involves heavy technical partnership management at a senior level, which you should be comfortable talking to peer CTOs or directors about implementations.
We are excited to add a senior technical leader to a fantastic mission that will help us serve patients around the world to get to healthier outcomes.
