DevOps Engineer

The Opportunity:

Axle’s high performing engineering team is experiencing exciting growth and we’re rapidly outpacing our existing CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling. We’re focused on scaling quickly, building and shipping exciting new features, increasing customer engagement around our product, and expanding our reach in the freight industry.

We’re looking for a dynamic, highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us scale our cloud infrastructure pipeline that powers our payments platform. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining our development and production environments with a focus on automation, security, and resiliency.

What Excites Us:

• 3+  years of experience as a DevOps Engineer working in high-growth customer obsessed environments.
• Professional work experience managing infrastructure built on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building and managing  GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Build.
• Deep understanding of DevOps culture with strong opinions around best practices.
• Familiarity with other components of our modern infrastructure and tooling such as Docker, Terraform, and Postgres.
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Golang, Rust, Scala, or Python.
• Experience supporting and scaling Elixir applications is a plus.
• Experience working with B2B software products. 
• Freight and Fintech experience is a plus.
